Moyvalley Meats is committed to conducting business in a manner which will protect and preserve the environment. We recognise that we have a social responsibility to minimise the impact of our business on the environment. We are also aware of our responsibility of compliance with all relevant legislation.


We do this through the use of an Integrated Environmental Management System and have dedicated staff committed to implementing all site environmental policies and procedures.
Moyvalley Meats holds an IPPC license issued by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).


Our key objectives are:

  • Pollution prevention
  • Waste reduction
  • Reduction in the consumption of resources i.e. fuel, energy and water
  • Maximising recovery and recycling of waste
